Stand-up comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia dismissed the notion that Indian comedians can be labeled as “crass”, stating that the live comedy scene in India is less than a decade old. He was talking at an event organized as a part of the Serendipity art festival, which is being held alongside Iffi-2016.
