They include Indian Crafts: Tradition and Expression, a show of traditional crafts; Express/Aspire, a series of images by Delhi-based photographer Samar Jodha; and Chakraview, an installation on the idea of modern India by set designer Sumant Jayakrishnan, design strategist and one-half of audio-visual duo BLOT!

The installation Chakraview is designed to resemble a spiritual journey. Walking through it is meant to evoke the sense of searching for utopia. It is personal, with just your reflection on the mirrored floors for company. As you move from one chakra (wheel) to another, you wade through a cacophony of sounds, languages, colours and textiles to step into the inner sanctum.

After successfully curating the Serendipity Festival in Goa, the Serendipity Arts Trust organised its first edition in the national capital. The essence of the festival is to bring traditional art forms to the modern-day audience. Serendipity Gallery in Litchfield opens its new exhibit, 'Panoramas,' featuring the work of artists Matthew Neele and Zeb Mayer.Curated by Liliana Kleid, the exhibit runs through Aug. 31. An opening reception is set for Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Exhibition hours are Wednesday to Monday, noon to 6 p.m. All other times by appointment only. Serendipity Gallery is at 3AA West St.

Serendipity Arts Trust on Wednesday announced the first edition of 'Serendipity Arts Festival' to be held in Goa. Serendipity Arts Festival will be the first of its kind in India to celebrate the diversity in art with a special focus on performing, visual, and culinary arts. The Festival aims to bind and promote art and culture that is unique to the various geographies in the sub-continent, on a single collaborative platform.

Twenty-four young artists from eight countries of south Asia will express their idea of the subcontinent, its social issues, stories of culture, myths, conflicts and political and economic struggles in a project, titled Young Subcontinent, to be curated by artist and co-founder of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Riyas Komu. It will be presented at the first edition of the Serendipity Arts Festival, to be held in Goa from December 16-23.

Serendipity कला समारोह में भारतीय कला और संस्कृति का संगम होगा , इस साल दिसंबर के महीने में गोवा में समारोह के आनंद को और बढ़ाते हुए एक और समारोह का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस समारोह में भारतीय कला के सभी प्रकारों, मसलन दृश्य, प्रदर्शन कला और पाक कला की विविधता का उत्सव मनाया जाएगा।

हीरो कॉरपोरेट सर्विसेज प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के चेयरमैन सुनीलकांत मुंजाल ने कहा कि गोवा में आयोजित होने वाला सेरेन्डिपिटी आटर्स फेस्टिवल एक क्यूरेटड कला महोत्सव है, जिसे सीमाओं को चुनौती देने और प्रस्तुतीकरण एवं जुड़ाव के प्रारूपों को पुरर्परिभाषित करने के लिए डिजाइन किया गया है।

इस साल दिसंबर के महीने में गोवा में समारोह के आनंद को और बढ़ाते हुए एक और समारोह का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस समारोह में भारतीय कला के सभी प्रकारों, मसलन दृश्य, प्रदर्शन कला और पाक कला की विविधता का उत्सव मनाया जाएगा।
